Why I Started and the development of the R.A.H.E.F:
I am not sure what possessed me to start again. After almost twenty years of dedicated, time consuming energy expending effort, I swore I would not, indeed could not, do it all over again. It was too, too exhausting. I had already built the RAAH, the Rosemary Altea Association of Healing, out of the UK, and this association was running very nicely with my supervison and my incredible team in the UK. Each time someone asked me, which was very often, I would say no, probably not. I couldn't face teaching again in the US. After all, I told myself, I'm older now, the commitment, the responsibility, oh yes, the responsibility, it was just too much. There. Decision made. No teaching, no healing, no healing centers in America. All that was back in England, and doing very well. It was enough.

I held out for almost five years. And in those five years I became emptier and emptier. You know how that is, I'm sure. Something in my life was missing. Something big. Of course I knew what it was, just didn't want to face it. And Grey Eagle was patient and waiting, knowing that the right time would come.

How:
It began in earnest a number of years ago. A phone call here, a request there, a slow but sure and steady stream of people requesting healing, could I come. And of course I went. I went wherever I was asked to go. It was my job, my work, and much more, my vocation. How silly of me to think I would escape it.

Finally I began classes in Manchester, Vermont. We now have a variety of students, and many have come and gone. My way is not right for everyone. Our lessons, guided as always by Grey Eagle, are varied and incredibly insightful and empowering. We not only explore the healing art, we explore the healing process within ourselves. Lessons, tried and tested for more than twenty years. Hard lessons, not for the faint of heart. As with anything, the more effort you make, the more you get out of it. Healing our old hurts and pains, giving first to the self, so that we will be strong enough to give to others. At the moment I have roughly 40 students working towards becoming healers. Until recently, these students were all learning and probationary healers, but we now we proudly have 13 full healer members in our team.

The Future--and the R.A.H.E.F:
In 2003 we opened the Farm in Ira, Vermont. The first American healing center. this is a place where those who need, can come for healing on certain days of the year. Llewella Day was the benefactor of this wonderful healing center and donated her beloved farm to the R.A.H.E.F so that it would have a center that people could come to. Llewella was a patient of Rosemary's and wanted to give those who needed healing, our two, and our four legged friends, a place for healing. Since that time, Rosemary's American Students have been working extremely hard to make the farm a place that's workable and viable for Llewella's dream to come true. She saw her Farm as a healing place and wanted to share it with those creatures great and small who needed spiritual healing, enlightenment and teaching.

At this point in time, the events held at the farm are limited, but we hope to expand, not only the availabilty at the farm, but also the type of events. We'd like to provide healing to all, as well as classes and events. We're working on making this happen, and with God's speed and will, it will happen.

You see, I can't escape. The hard work, the effort and energy, the exhaustion and the responsibility, all mine. But let me not forget to mention, the satisfaction, the joy of seeing a difference, of making a difference, the honor of being invited to sit with a dying patient and their families, of being welcomed into peoples' hearts. The rewards are endless. I am no longer empty. I am now full with the light and the love of God, and am truly blessed.

Our goal:
Is also to expand and open more centers in the US as well as England so that people can come for healing, or learn more about this subject for themselves, or to help others. However, if you can't make it to one of our healing centers, you may also register for absent healing right here:

Please note: All healing work is free. No one pays to receive healing, nor do my students pay for classes.

Take your own classes:
If you are interested to develop spiritually, or would like to experience some of the classes that I teach my students in VT, then please visit our Own Your Own Power section. There you can learn how to become more sensitive, in tune with the world around you, and your sixth sense. Online in YOU OWN THE POWER, among other things, I will occasionally be sharing select teaching sessions from Vermont.

DISCLAIMER: If you have, or suspect you have a medical problem, see your doctor or professional health care provider. Healing is not a substitute for professional medical care.
